10:17 AM Traffic Accident on Hwy 231 at State Line Where Wise Decision Makers Installed A Traffic Light

MADRID: 10:17 AM Houston County Sheriff 911 Center has dispatched emergency vehicles to Highway 231 South at the state line in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
The accident involves a mini van and a truck pulling a trailer.
Madrid Volunteer Fire, Rehobeth Rescue, Houston County Sheriff Department and Alabama State Troopers are responding.
At 10:18 AM Houston County Sheriff 911 Center paged Southern Junction Volunteer Fire to respond. There is one vehicle overturned and one person complaining of leg pain.
This accident is at the intersection of State Line Road where the "wise" leaders and "wise decision makers" installed a traffic light just as you top the hill entering Alabama from Florida. And since their "wise decision" there have been more people injured and killed at that traffic signal location than there ever was prior to the installation of the traffic signal.

One person was transported to the hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
