DOTHAN: 10:36 PM. This evening Dothan 911 Center, Dothan Police - Dothan Fire - Pilcher Ambulance Service have been slammed.
All evening all of the services have been running from one call to another. No time to really complete one before something else happens.
From assaults, wrecks, burglaries, drunk drivers, to medical emergencies, the 911 Center has been fielding calls all evening, non stop. Along with 911 calls, the police - fire - EMS - Utilities have been rolling.
The Alabama State Troopers - Dothan Post have already worked two bad wrecks in this district. Those being in Coffee and Covington County. They have two wrecks pending, one in Houston County and one in Dale County.
The Dale County accident is going to undertake a major investigation by the Troopers.
Dothan Police Patrol is under the command of Lt. Jeremy Collins. Dothan Fire Batallion Chiefs today are David Hasty and Acting Batallion Chief Scott Bodiford.
None of the services have skipped a beat, but none have had time to take a breath since coming on duty.
