DOTHAN: Houston County Deputy attempted to apprehend a shop lifter and the man fled from the deputy. The deputy got back up coming but not before the suspect and his partner attempted to take someone’s vehicle.
The suspect was caught and taken into custody. Dothan Fire responded to check out the deputy for possible injuries he received while attempting to arrest the suspect.
Sheriff Valenza, Chief Deputy Carslie and Capt. Gonzales were also on the scene.
