12:38 AM... Motor Vehicle Accident on US 231 at Decatur Road

HOUSTON COUNTY:  Madrid Fire and Rehobeth Rescue responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on US 231 at Decatur Road. Reports are a head-on crash with possible three patients, one possibly entrapped. It was actually a T-Bone Crash with heavy damage to both vehicles.

Wiregrass Life Flight was Auto Lunched to the scene. Hodgesville Fire was requested for extrication. Only one person was injured. The driver of the SUV was air lifted to a Dothan Hospital.  

Houston County Sheriff’s Office also responded. The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
