Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management Deputy Director Leigh Adams moments ago physically traveled to Columbia 12:53 AM checking the river. EMA Director Chris Judah on scene in Rehobeth where four people killed tonight.

But Judah and staff are busting their rears despite obstacles by Mark Culver, Jackie Battles, Doug Sinquefield, Brandon Shoupe and Curtis Harvey.

Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza, Chief Deputy Jeff Carlisle, and Criminal Investigation Captain Bill Rafferty and members of the Sheriff Department are on the scene. Houston County Road and Bridge are on the scene with heavy equipment. A large wrecker with Ferguson Wrecker has been called to the scene.

The bodies of four women are trapped under a huge tree. There is another tree with danger of it falling. So search officials are being extra cautious in protecting the bodies of the four ladies killed and protecting search crews that no one is injured.

Sheriff Valenza and EMA Director Chris Judah are working hand in hand with members of Rehobeth Fire - Rescue and Southern Junction Fire.

Thanks to Wal-Mart for the donation of $ 25 for food for the workers. Thanks to Rehobeth Fire for the money they spent for food for the workers.

The crews are working in bad weather and dangerous conditions are they secure the tree from falling any further on the bodies and secure it in a position to cut the tree up to remove the bodies.

Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza called a pastor friend to respond to the scene to minister to the families.

Also thanks to Dothan Police Department for sending manpower to assist. Both Criminal Investigation Commander Lt. Will Glover responded to the scene as did Patrol Lt. Commander Brian Smith and patrol units.

Also thanks to Dothan Fire Department for sending fire units and Batallion Chief to the scene to assist.

Matt Boster is the Fire Chief of Southern Junction Fire. Ricky Beck is a member of Southern Junction Fire. Both were on the scene. Terry Stokes is a member of Rehobeth Fire and was on this scene and other scenes.

And I ( Rickey Stokes ) was on the scene at Rehobeth. Thanks to Sandra Walden for helping update what she could on the web site and Facebook.

We had issues with the web site because we had 40,000 hitS at one time.
