3:26 PM Dothan Police Investigating A Shooting

DOTHAN:    3:26 PM    Multiple Dothan Police Patrol Officers, Criminal Investigators and Evidence Investigators are on the scene of gunshots fired into a vehicle that resulted in a person being struck.

At about 2:20 PM Dothan Police 911 received a call of gunshots fired into a vehicle at 120 Young America Drive.

At about 2:30 PM Dothan Police received a call from SAMC where a patient was presented with a gunshot wound to the left side of the head. The subject arrived by private auto. Reports were the gunshot victim was related to the shots fired into a vehicle on Young America Drive. The victim is reported to be in stable condition.

Multiple criminal investigators and crime scene investigators are processing several areas on Young America Drive, to include Young America Drive and Kinsey Road. At this location it appears broken glass on the road.

Dothan Police Criminal Investigators have identified a suspect and have a  look out for the suspect.
