4:29 PM... T-Bone Accident Sends Two People to the Hospital

HOUSTON COUNTY: Hodgesville Fire and Pilcher's were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Saunders Road at Third Ave. Reports are a T-Bone crash with entrapment. Both vehicles had major damage and the driver of the BMW was entrapped. Hodgesville Fire requested Dothan to respond to help with extrication.
Firefighters had to remove the roof and roll the dash to remove the driver from the vehicle. Wiregrass Life Flight was requested but the driver was removed and loaded into the ambulance before they could land.
The other driver was not injured and the passenger of the BMW was also transported to the hospital by ambulance. The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
