ARITON: At 5:51 PM... Alabama State Troopers attempted to stop a motorcycle on Hwy 51 in Ariton. The trooper gave chase when the driver refused to stop. We understand the driver has wrecked out near or at hwy 51 and County Road 215. It's not clear at this time why the driver fled or how bad the injuries are. No more information is available at this time.
