ASHFORD: Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched Ashford Rescue - Ashford Fire - Ashford Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies to a motor vehicle accident with injuries and Entrappment.
The accident location was Highway 84 East and County Road 55 ( North Broadway ). Reports to 911 Entrappment in one vehicle.
Two Ashford ambulances and Pilcher Ambulance responded. Ashford Rescue transported the patients, one emergency and one non emergency.
Heavy damage to the vehicles. Ashford Police Officer Tim Miller is investigating.
TO THE PEOPLE OF ASHFORD: Please note, in addition to his Mayor's duties you need to know that your Mayor was working as a fireman assisting on the scene of the accident. I love it when the elected officials give of their time, suit up and work as others volunteering. The only way you knew he was the Mayor - was to know him. He was just one of the "fireman" and nothing standing out.
The injuries are not reported to be life threatening.
