DOTHAN: 1:23 PM. Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Fire, Pilcher Ambulance and Dothan Police to a motor vehicle accident on Beverlye Road and Highway 52 East.
The accident has a overturned vehicle and a passenger car. The driver of the overturned vehicle has exited the vehicle and the passenger car the driver is trapped due to his size.
Dothan Fire was required to cut part of the vehicle in order to be able to remove the patient from the wreckage with proper care for the injured.
The truck was west bound on Highway 52 and the Pepsi truck was east bound. The motor vehicle apparently turned in front of the Pepsi truck.
Both were transported non emergency to SAMC.
The first emergency unit to arrive was a Alabama State Trooper. Dothan Police is in charge of the investigation.
The injuries were not life threatening.
