8th Annual Law Enforcement Seminar was Held in Ozark

DALE COUNTY: Today was the 8th annual law enforcement seminar. These yearly seminars are put on by the Dale County District Attorney’s Office in conjunction with other local law enforcement and other District Attorneys.


Today’s seminar touched on In the Line of Duty Deaths because this number has been drastically rising every year and these seminars are to help train law enforcement and to influence law enforcement culture by providing innovative training and awareness, through presentations, social media, and webinars on identifying the leading causes and current trends in preventable line of duty deaths and injuries.


A few of the topics from this morning’s seminar touched on things like always wearing your seat belt, always wearing your vest, slow your speed down when responding to call, and most importantly always remember that Complacency kills.
