DOTHAN: Officer stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of North Oates and one of the subjects got rabbit fever. Officers responded to back up the officer. the suspect ran arcoss Headland Ave and behind the church then ran for a house in the 100 block of Pine Street.


The suspect ran inside and hid under some clothes inside the home. Another male came out back and officers told him to show them his hands. when the subject refused a Tazer was deployed and the subject was taken into custody.


Officers made entry into the home and located the suspect. He had warrants with Houston County but will be charged attempting to elude with Dothan.
