Andalusia – – On Wednesday, April 27, agents with the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) Special Victims Unit (SVU) arrested an Andalusia man after receiving an investigative lead from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Robert Larry Davis, 67, was charged with Possession of Child Pornography after agents conducted a search warrant at his residence on Antioch Road.
Davis, who was currently out on bond from the Covington County Jail on a previous arrest on the same charges, had first aid administered by agents after a self-inflicted stab wound. Agents transported him to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Upon his release from the hospital, agents transported Davis to the Covington County Jail where he is being held with a$100,000 bond. Nothing further is available as the investigation is ongoing.
