Arrest Made after Domestic Altercation

On 12/03/2016 Officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to 4473 Fairfax Road in reference to a domestic altercation. When officers arrived they could hear people yelling inside of the residence.


Officers knocked and announced their presence and a B/M known to officers as Recarter Jones answered the door. Officers were aware Jones had previously been given a trespass warning for the residence. Officers then spoke with the female victim inside of the residence who stated that Jones had attacked her and tried to choke her.


The victim was transported to Jackson Hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries. Jones was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.     


Suspect:Recarter Jones B/M 39yoa


             Marianna, FL.                 


Charge: Domestic Battery by Strangulation


            Trespass After Warning
