DALE COUNTY:    The trio left last evening about 10 PM. They were tracking a female that was bonded from Dale County on drug charges. When she came to Dothan she got an additional drug charge.


A - Advantage Bonding received information she had moved without notifying us and was living in a tent city in the Ft. Lauderdale Florida area.


The trio Bail Enforcement Team of A - Advantage Bonding, Brandon, Kris and John left last evening about 10 PM traveling to Ft. Lauderdale/Pompano Beach Florida Area. 


When they arrived sources of which we had developed help lead the trio team to the female and they were able to apprehend and secure her custody.


The trio then turned around and drove back to Dothan Alabama, transferring her to a male and female agent, who then transported back to the Dale County Jail.


A bail bondsman is a pre-trial service provider for the court. Bail Bondsman are no cost to the court system. It is the bail bondsman duty to keep up with the defendants, notify of court, make sure they are in attendance in court.


If the defendant fails to appear and the time and place court is scheduled, it is the bail bondsman duty to actively pursue the defendant, take them into custody, with the intentions of not harming them and returning them to the custody of the Sheriff or Chief of Police.


This defendant, Jennifer Moulton, was surrendered to the custody of the Sheriff of Dale County via his corrections staff at the Dale County Jail.


A person on bond must keep the bondsman, court and attorney informed of all address changes and phone number changes. 


Sometimes a bail bondsman is taken for granted, but we are of an extreme asset to the court's, the defendant's and the system. For it is our job to manage the defendant, pre-trial, free of cost to the system.
