On March 17th at  approximately 5:30AM Ozark-Dale County E911 received a call of a burglary-in-progress call in the 12000 Blk of U.S. Highway 231 in the Midland City area. During the initial investigation deputies learned that a male subject had kicked in the front door and forced his way into the residence.

The victim, who was inside the residence when the suspect made entry, was able to flee to a neighbor’s house and call 911.  Once additional deputies arrived they were about to locate the suspect near the victim’s property and take him into custody.

Investigators have charged John Fain with Burglary 2nd.  Fain is currently being held under no bond pending his 1stappearance hearing.
