CANCELLED - Charlie Platt Show CANCELLED and Platt Terminated

DOTHAN:    Appearing live and in person following this morning's Charlie Platt Show on WDHN, well apparently were some guests uninvited by Platt and unwelcome by Platt.

As we understand Corporate Officials of Nexstar Broadcasting appeared live and in person in Dothan. Their mission, cancel and terminate the Charlie Platt Show and terminate any employment and agreements with Charlie Platt.

Apparently Charlie Platt became verbally abusive and disrespectful live on recent morning TV Shows of his bosses and corporate officials. This unacceptable behavior continued several times.

Recently advertisers even made comments about the way Platt had been about their advertisements with the station.

The Charlie Platt Show aired mornings on WDHN TV -18 from 5:30 AM until 7 AM, Monday through Friday. The show was "live" on the air. The show featured local guests and some by telephone.

Platt has become very hostile and rude towards people, even some appearing on the show that were there to promote something civic in nature. Platt attempted to engage them in politics and told them not to come back if they disagreed with him.

One advertiser and guest on Platt s Show, was treated rude and disrespectful by Platt becuase they supported someone Platt did not like.

And do not dare be critical of former Alabama Governor Bob Riley. Platt would go very hostile.

Apparently that same hostile and disrespectful attitude also involved Corporate Officials.

But what Platt forgot, apparently... he was "invited" on Nextel Broadcasting's TV Show. Platt was not the "owner" but "employed". And the Charlie Platt Show, well...
