City of Dothan, Troy University to announce quality of life survey release

DOTHAN—Thursday, March 9, 10:30 a.m.: The City of Dothan and Troy University will hold a joint press conference inside the City Commission Chambers announcing the impending release of a citywide quality of life survey.
Dothan Mayor Mike Schmitz, Police Chief Steve Parrish and Dothan Community Relations Group President Precious Freeman will be joined by Troy University sociology professors Dr. Christopher Bradley and Dr. Jeneve Brooks to discuss the survey, which will focus on Dothan residents’ perceptions of quality of life, race relations in the Dothan community and community policing by the Dothan Police Department.
The survey will be released March 13.
Members of the media are asked to arrive at the City Commission Chambers by 10:20 a.m.
