The Angel Of Hope Statue was dedicated this past November and the first annual candlelight vigil was held there on December 6th. For those who don’t know the Angel Of Hope Statue is for every parent who has ever lost a child of any age. Some of the questions I have been asked is:
Is it just for victims of cancer? The answer is no...the Angel Of Hope Statue is for every child who is no longer with us because of any reason including miscarriages which is just as devastating to a parent as any other loss would be.
Where is it located?
The Angel of Hope Statue is located on Recreation Drive between the new library and miracle field at Westgate Park in Dothan.
How can I Help ?
A board and committee has been appointed to look after The Angel Of Hope Statue. If you would like to help you may call Steve Hardwick at 334-673-5632
Is it just for the parents of children who are no longer with us?
