Dothan Police Arrest Two On 182 Counts Of Cruelty To Animals And Aggravated Animal Creulty

DOTHAN: On Friday Dothan Police Patrol Division and Dothan Animal Control Officers responded to the 2900 block of Peachtree Drive in reference to an animal cruelty call.
After patrol division and animal control arrived on the scene they requested criminal investigation to respond.
Dothan Police Criminal Investigation has arrested two people, male and female, on 81 counts each, each having bonds totaling $ 702,000.00.
Arrested on felony criminal charges:
#1: Le Noguchi Pham, age 34, female; 57 counts of Creulty To Animals, at a bond of $ 6,000.00 for each offense; 24 counts of Aggravated Animal Creulty at a bond of $ 15,000.00 each.
TOTAL BONDS: $ 702,000.00
#2: Hoan Cong Nguyen, age 47, male; 57 counts of Creulty To Animals, at a bond of $ 6,000.00 for each offense; 24 counts of Aggravated Animal Creulty at a bond of $ 15,000.00 for each offense.
TOTAL BONDS: $ 702,000.00
The two people arrested face a total of 162 criminal offense, and a combined total of $ 1,404,000.00
Dothan Police issued a FACEBOOK comment that all animals were rescued from the residence. In the statement Dothan Police said more information would be released on Monday.
Dothan Police thanked Big Bend Animal Sanctuary for their assistance in the case.
Both Pham and Nguyen have been released on bonds.
