Early Morning Fire in Lucy Destroys Home

HOUSTON COUNTY:  Around 2:30 AM this morning multiple Fire units from Cottonwood, Lucy and Malone responded to a report of a structure fire at 1327 Bazemore Mill Road in Lucy.


The first unit on scene advised heavy smoke visible. Houston County Sheriff’s Office responded along with an ambulance. The road the fire is located on was closed due to emergency equipment blocking the road.


Dothan Houston County EMA Director Chris Judah also responded to assist in anyway possible. The cause of the is not know at this time.
