Enhanced risk of severe weather expected on Monday

The NWS Storm Prediction Center expects an enhanced risk of severe weather on Monday. The area of greatest concern is in portions of Louisiana, Mississippi and southern Alabama.


Numerous threats are expected with these storms to include: damaging winds hail and flash flooding. A few tornadoes cannot be ruled out, particularly during Monday afternoon and evening.
