Enterprise Police Issue a Scam Alert

The Enterprise Police Department would like to inform the public of a phone scam that has shown up recently in the Enterprise area. The potential victim will receive a phone call from a subject purporting to be a representative of the Enterprise Police Department. The caller will inform them that the Enterprise Police Department is seeking donations for body cameras and/or body armor. The caller may encourage the phone call recipient to make donations in excess of $100.00 to be considered a gold sponsor.
The Enterprise Police Department does NOT solicit donations from the public for police equipment. If any citizen receives a phone call requesting donations for our Department, please report the incident at 334-347-2222.
