FOLEY, AL (WALA) -Four juveniles were planning to bring guns and "do harm" at Foley Middle School, according to the Foley Police Department.
Foley Police on Wednesday responded to the school in reference to an incident involving the four juveniles, an FPD news release stathes.
Law enforcement received information about a threat, according to police. After further investigation, police believe the juveniles were planning to bring guns to do harm at the school.
Four male juveniles were arrested. All four are 8th grade boys at Foley Middle School, police said.
Foley Deputy Police Chief Thurston Bullock says the tip of the threat was reported at the main office on campus and the school's resource officer contacted police investigators.
Bullock says investigators did not find the students in possession of any guns at school, however had enough probable cause to make the arrests and charge each student with one count of making a terroristic threat.
