DOTHAN:    Dothan Police have arrested former Dothan City Commissioner of District 5 Taylor Barbaree.


Barbaree was in Dothan Criminal Investigation Division this afternoon for questioning by Dothan Police Criminal Investigators. Following the interviews Dothan CID arrested Barbaree for Theft by Deception and Possession of a Forged Instrument.


Barbaree was booked into the Dothan City Jail. After processing he will be transferred to Houston County Jail and booked on the two felony offenses.


These offenses have ZERO - ZERO to do with the City of Dothan or Barbaree's service with the City of Dothan as a commissioner. It has been several years since Barbaree served as a Dothan Commissioner.
