High Speed Chase Lands One in Custody

HOUSTON COUNTY: Multiple law enforcement were involved in a chase that has landed at least one in jail. Sheriff Donald Valenza called out with units on US 84 West where a vehicle chase came to an end. 


There were multiple police Units from Dale County and Daleville were Goulding a check point when the dri was told to pull to the side of the road. Instead the female driver took off and units gave chase. 


Sheriff Valenza heard the chase and started heading tha way. The female driver struck two police units and that's when the call was made to "pit" the vehicle. Houston County Sheriffs Deputies were not involved in the chase. 


The Vehicle spun and the driver was taken into custody. No one else was injured in the chase. It's not clear why the female took off. Unconfirmed reports are she may have had outstanding warrants out of Florida.
