Honeymoon Over - Pat Jones In Court

HOUSTON - HENRY CO: The honeymoon did not last one week.
This morning 20th Judicial Circuit District Attorney Pat Jones and Assistant Seth Brooks were front and center before Judge Butch Binford.
Jones and staff have a 79 page criminal jury trial docket that kicks off Monday Morning.
Jones and Brooks along with defense attorneys David Hogg and Aaron Gartlan answered up on a Capital Murder case that was scheduled to begin next week. There are still some issues to be resolved before the case is ready for trial. By mutual agreement the case was continued until the April jury trial term. But with a word of caution from Judge Binford. Be ready in April.
Other cases announced settlement, some entered pleas, some announced ready for trial.
Jones took the oath of office last Tuesday. One week later already in the courtroom.
