In Re Thursday Shooting In Ozark - Arrest Made

OZARK:   On Thursday about 3 PM Ozark - Dale County 911 dispatched emergency units to 134 Mildred Street in Ozark to a gunshot.


When emergency units arrived the gunshot victim was gone. Reports to law enforcement the suspect left in a private auto enroute to Dale Medical Center. Shortly thereafter reports were the gunshot victim, with a gunshot to the face, was presented to the Emergency Department of Dale Medical Center by private auto.


Ozark Police Patrol and Criminal Investigators quickly obtained information and developed a suspect. Lookouts were broadcast on that suspect, being Joshua Richards. He was last seen leaving on foot wearing a Zabby's Uniform ( NOTE:   Zaxby's had nothing to do with the case.)


On Friday Ozark Police had Joshua Richards in custody. He was charged with Attempted Murder and placed in the Dale County Jail.
