HOUSTON COUNTY:   The Alabama State Department of Law Enforcement, Alcohol Division, made three arrests for persons Selling Alcohol Without A License.

This division was formally known as the Alabama Beverage Control Board ( ABC ) which was in the Senator Del Marsh famous million dollar savings ( LAUGHTER ) of combining law enforcement agencies.

On February 12, State Law Enforcement Agents made three cases each against Shiela Ann Baxter, Gordon David Cameron, Richard Clarence Bailey and Gerene Easley Brisbon.

The State Law Enforcement arrested Baxter under allegations that on February 5, 2017 Baxter sold 6 Bud Light Beers and one 200 ml bottle of Paul Mason. That on January 22, 2017 Baxter sold 6 Bud Light Beer, one 200ml bottle of Barton Gin for $ 19.00.

A search warrant was executed for 2663 Lake Street and Baxter was alleged to have been found to be unlawfully in possession of alcoholic beverage for sale without a license.

Baxter was placed in the Houston County Jail where she made bonds.

Cameron was arrested under allegations that on February 5, 2017 he sold 6 Busch Light beers, one 200 ml bottle of Gin that was poured into a Smirnoff Vodka Bottle. On January 22, 2017 Cameron is alleged to have sold 6 Busch Light and two 50 ml Seagram Extra Dry Gin bottles for $ 13.00.

The state law enforcement officers then executed a search warrant for 905-1 Whiddon Street where they found Cameron alleged in the possession of alcohol for sale without a license.

Bailey was on the same type sell of 6 beer and some alcohol. The state law enforcement officers also searched Bailey’s vehicle and found alcohol in the amount of more than for personal consumption in the backseat.

FATALITIES - MURDERS

Alabama Senator Del Marsh put legislation in to combine some 12 law enforcement agencies under one central command. That  move was to save millions and millions of dollars. Ever since the combination of the agencies, all the registered voters of Alabama have heard is how the Alabama Department of Law Enforcement Agency is broke.

WAIT - Senator Marsh said it would save millions of dollars??

The year 2016 was or almost a record year for people killed in auto accidents. In Birmingham Alabama, over 100 murders. In our capital of Alabama, directly under the leaders noses, scores of murders.

But the focus of the State Department of Investigation is the sell of 6 beers and alcohol bottles for $ 19.00 and $ 13.00.

That is something well in the scope of ability and authority that could be handled by the Dothan Police Chief or Houston County Sheriff rather than the State Department of Law Enforcement.

So if the leaders of the Alabama Department of Law Enforcement could ever squeeze their head out from between their buttocks ( Stan Stabler ), and put these men and women in uniform working, then you could reduce the number of traffic deaths. Or hey, you might could do some real law enforcement work and reduce the number of murders in Montgomery and Birmingham.

And if you were a manager ( like John Watson or Cal Turner ), you could manage the dollars and purchase a radio system where one of the Alabama Department of Law Enforcement Officers would feel safe. The radio system they have, well the radio system came before Noah on the Ark!

But no, like TOADLICK, the best service for these State of Alabama Law Enforcement Officers is not saving lives. At TOADLICK they had about 12 State Law Enforcement Officers working alcohol. Dothan Police Chief Steve Parrish and Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza, their departments were fully capable of handling it. The State Bureau of Investigation was not needed at TOADLICK.

We need Searcy open again. Got some leaders who need to have an extended visit.
