THIS 79 YEAR OLD JEFFERSON COUNTY RESIDENT was well aware his safety and well being could not be dependent on the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of Jefferson County, Sheriff Mike Hale.
Because under Sheriff Hale, Jeffferson County has won a distinction. A city in this Chief Law Enforcement Officers County has been designated as the most unsafe city in the State of Alabama.
When a department fails such as Birmingham Alabama Police Department, the Chief Law Enforcement Officer MUST step in and get it under control.
But Mike Hale, Jefferson County Sheriff, has apparently joined the ranks of the other nasty 'ol politicians in Jefferson County, and continues to allow the people in his county to have their safety in jeopardy.
Congratulations to this 79 year old man for the realization HIS Sheriff will not protect him by getting his county under control.
