Large Outdoor Fire in Cowarts

HOUSTON COUNTY: Multiple fire units from Cowarts Fire and Ashford Fire respond to the report of an outdoor fire that has gotten out of control on Crawford Rd in Cowarts.
As first units arrive on-scene they advise several bales of hay on fire along with a large field.
Thanks to the quick response of both volunteer fire departments the fire was quickly contained and under control.
Alabama Forestry Commission was also on-scene with their bulldozer.
