Marianna Police Charge One with Burglary and Petit Theft

On 12/31/2016 at approximately 9:03 AM, Officer's with the Marianna Police Department responded to an address on Wynn Street in reference to an attempted burglary. Upon arrival, Officers determined that an individual identified as Anthony Holden went to this address and attempted to take an electric weed eater off the porch.


 Holden was confronted by someone from the residence and put the tool down and left the property riding in a truck. While officers were speaking with witnesses to the incident, the vehicle in question passed the residence. Officers were able to conduct a traffic stop on the aforementioned vehicle where they spoke with Holden.


 Holden was placed under arrest and transported to Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance. 


Arrestee: Anthony Jerome Holden   B/M   51 YOA


Charges: Burglary of Structure, Petit Theft
