Marianna Woman Arrested on Drug Charges

On October 18th, 2017 a warrant was issued for Martha Diana “Dee” Bellamy for Failure to Appear on the charges of: Manufacture of Controlled Substance, Trafficking in Methamphetamines over 28 Grams, and 2 counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ms. Bellamy fled the area in an effort to avoid capture.
In a cooperative effort, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office requested Ms. Bellamy’s case be adopted by the U.S. Marshal Service based on information that she had fled to Georgia.
Martha Diana Bellamy was taken into custody on 2-25-17 in Statesboro Georgia without incident. She is expected to be extradited back to Jackson County soon to face charges.
Sheriff Lou Roberts, along with the Jackson County Drug Task Force and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Division would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Savannah Office of the U.S. Marshal Service and Supervisor Marty West for their assistance regarding this matter.
