Marianna Woman Arrested on Multiple Charges

     On 12-25-2016, Jackson County Sheriff's Deputies responded to Calhoun County Sheriff's Deputies on a pursuit out of their County. The driver, Sandra Powell, 53, wrecked her vehicle on Hwy 73 in Jackson County when she hit concrete baracades on a portion of the roadway that was under construction. She was believed to be under the influence of an unknown substance. Powell was transported to Jackson Hospital, and later treated and released.  Upon release  she battered the officer. She was transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await First Appearance.
