Motor Vehicle Accident Harper's Joy Road Just Off Hodgesville Road

HOUSTON COUNTY: 8:09 PM Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched a motor vehicle accident on Harper's Joy Road just off Hodgesville Road. Reports of critical injuries.
Hodgesville Volunteer Fire, Rehobeth Rescue, Houston County Sheriff Deputies and Alabama State Troopers were dispatched. Due to the nature of the call Wiregrass Life Flight was being auto launched.
Within minutes of call being dispatched emergency units were on the scene. The patient was self extricated ans sitting upright on top of the bank.
Wiregrass Life Flight was cancelled. The driver admitted to being under the influence of alcohol.
Rehobeth Rescue transported non emergency to SAMC.
Alabama State Troopers are in charge of the investigation.
