SARCOA is offering at no cost to participants the National Diabetes Prevention Program.  We are looking to help reduce the growing problem of prediabetes and type 2 diabetes.  This program will make it easier for people with prediabetes to participate in an evidence based, high-quality lifestyle changing program to reduce their risk of type 2 diabetes and improve their overall health. There will be 16 weekly core workshops followed by 6 monthly follow-up post core sessions.  Eligible participants are those 60 years of age or older or their spouses.  Adults 18 years of age and older who are at high risk are also eligible. Participants will register by calling SARCOA at (334)793-6843 or 1-800-239-3507.
