JACKSON COUNTY: A double murder that occurred in Jackson County is still unsolved, and some residents feel the incident has been forgotten.
Robert and Kathleen McRae were found shot to death in the kitchen of their Graceville home. Jackson County Investigators and Graceville Police found a ski mask at the scene, but ruled out robbery. However, Mrs. McRae’s diamond ring was taken.
Today Sheriff Roberts announced they have not given up on solving this case but in fact have gotten some much needed help and still need the public’s help. Roberts stated that so many things have changed for the better and with a new fresh set of eyes they are hoping to finely put this case to rest but still have a long way to go.
If you have any information on this, you are asked to contact the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 482-9664.
