Henry Jason Hall, 38, of Panama City was arrested in Washington County Sunday morning April 2nd, at 12:50 a.m. following a traffic stop.
During the stop, Deputy Dakota Jarvis also discovered a “loaded” syringe in Hall’s backpack, which field tested positive for methamphetamines.
A hold was placed on Hall once it was confirmed that he had an outstanding warrant out of Jackson County for 2 Counts of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation, which was issued on March 17th 2017. Once he has satisfied the charges in Washington County, Hall will be transported to Jackson County to face charges related to the local warrant.
Hall’s case is one of fifteen fugitives that have been submitted by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and subsequently selected by the U.S. Marshal Service for special assistance in the area of fugitive apprehension. All fifteen have been captured.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office entered into a mutually beneficial agreement with the Marshal Service in November of 2015, which allows the Investigator assigned by the Sheriff’s Office to work without jurisdictional restrictions and also affords them tools and training to enhance their ability to do their job.
There are almost 75 local Law Enforcement officers between Madison County and Escambia County assigned to Northwest Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force of the Marshal Service.
Sheriff Lou Roberts would like to thank the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshal Service for their assistance in bringing this fugitive to justice.
