PEDESTRIAN STRUCK WHILE CROSSING U.S. HIGHWAY 90

DeFuniak Springs Police responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash near the intersection of U.S. Highway 90 West and 24th Street on Tuesday night around 7:45 p.m.  A 28 year old DeFuniak Springs woman was running from the north side of U.S. Highway 90 when she ran into the path of a white Hyundai 4 door car.  


DeFuniak Springs Fire Department and Walton County Fire Rescue responded and transported the female to Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center.  Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash and the investigation is on-going.
