Search Warrant lands One in Jail on Drug Charges

On 4-7-17 the Graceville Police Department along with the Florida Department of Corrections (Probation Division) and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation into the allegations of marijuana being distributed from a residence on Spear Point Ln in the city of Graceville.


   During the investigation, consent to search the residence was obtained from the defendant, which led to a large quantity of marijuana being collected as evidence.


   The marijuana had been packaged by the defendant into different size bags for sale and distribution. A total of 20.4 ounces of high grade marijuana was seized from the residence with an approximate street value of $8000.00


   Arrested: Shannon Latrent Weatherington Graceville, Florida


   Charges: Possession Marijuana with Intent to Distribute


                    Possession Drug Paraphernalia


                    Violation of State Probation
