Shredder Fire At Wiregrass Rehab

DOTHAN: At 9:11 AM Dothan 911 Center dispatched a fire alarm at Wiregrass Rehab Center at 565 Burkett Road.
The fire alarm was quickly changed to a "high occupancy" structure fire due to the number of people on site.
Dothan Fire was quick on the scene. The fire was contained to a shredder. The Wiregrass Rehab Center has recently installed a fire suppression system over the shredders. Guess What? They worked as designed.
When Dothan Fire arrived the shredder fire was out. Dothan Fire helped exhaust the smoke from the facility.
No one was injured.
