Sunland Center will Conduct a Job Fair

Marianna, FL - The Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) Sunland Center, will conduct a Job Fair on Thursday, April 6th from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.  The event is open to the public and will be held on the Sunland campus, located at 3700 Williams Road.  Sunland Center is a community serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 



 Job seekers will have direct access to various Sunland departments that are seeking talented candidates in every discipline including human services care, health care and nursing, to food service, maintenance, vocational services, recreational services, behavioral services, security, and other career paths.  



 Informational booths will offer materials about positions that are currently open, as well as other positions the Center offers.   Application booths will be available to apply online for open positions; applicants can anticipate a 30 to 45-minute process.  Tours of the Sunland campus will also be provided for these interested in an overview of the Sunland community.  



 Amanda Johnson, Human Resource Manager states “Sunland Center is the largest employer in Jackson County.  Events like the Sunland Job Fair are vital to our efforts to help strengthen our local economy, connecting our community’s talented workers with Sunland’s various departments who are looking to hire the best qualified individuals.
