Suspicious Vehicle Lands Two in Jail for Burglary

On Wednesday 04/12/2017, Patrol Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Santolina Road for a vehicle alarm call. Upon their arrival they discovered a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of Forest Drive. They detained two suspects: 20 year old Jarvis Stephens, and 18 year Quantaviaius Stoddart.
Investigators were able to link multiple car break-ins to these two individuals throughout the city over the past month. Stephens is currently charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, 26 counts of breaking and entering (vehicle), possession of burglar tools, and giving false information to law enforcement. Stoddart is currently charged with two counts breaking and entering (vehicle). More charges are expected. Two stolen firearms, along with other property were recovered. The owners of the recovered property, including the firearms, have already been identified and will be contacted shortly.
