For the homeless and those that are unsheltered, the Harbor in downtown Dothan at 320 North Foster (corner of Foster & Burdeshaw), will open their facility as a warming station Wednesday night, March 15th.
The doors open for the warming station between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15th. No check-in after 9 p.m. Doors re-open Thursday morning as temps rise (7 a.m. or 8 a.m.) Cots will be spread out, and a warm place for the night will be available. Snacks, coffee and drinks will also be provided.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED Wednesday evening from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Thursday morning. If you are interested in volunteering, call The Harbor at 334-790-4031.
Thank you in advance for partnering with the Harbor, and most importantly, protecting many lives in this city from the upcoming cold.
