DOTHAN:    On Friday Dothan Police Patrol Division and Dothan Animal Control responded to the 2900 block of Peachtree Drive in reference to a animal cruelty complaint.


Once the officers arrived Dothan Police Patrol units called for Dothan Police Criminal  Investigation Division to respond. The call was late Friday afternoon.


Following an investigation beginning Friday through Saturday, Dothan Police arrested a male and female on 81 counts each of Cruelty To Animals and Aggravated Cruelty To Animals. Each had bonds totaling $ 702,000.00, for a grand total of the two being $ 1,404,000.00


Arrested and booked into the Dothan City Jail and then because it being a felony booked into the Houston County Jail were: Hoan Cong Nguyen, male, age 47 and Le Ngoc Pham, female age 34.


Both subjects arrested have been released on bonds following their arrest.


The subjects listed an address of 2913 Peachtree Drive Dothan Alabama. On the paperwork filed in the court system, Pham listed her occupation as Lucy Nail Salon. Nguyen listed his employment as "self employed" in the remodeling business.


The residence is located in a very nice neighborhood off Murphy Mill Road, on the left before Providence Christian School.


While the house is in mess the neighborhood is nice. Three new looking vehicles in the driveway of the residence.


Dothan Police sent a TWITTER message they would be releasing more information today. As soon as done we will update.
