Traffic Stop Leads to an Arrest

  On March 20, 2017, Officers with the Marianna Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a motor scooter for not have a registration tag.  The driver, Adrian Todora, informed Officers that his license was suspended.


  Tordora was arrested and during a search incident to arrest, Todora was found to be in possession of several Morphine and Xanax pills which he did not have a prescription for.


  Tordora was transported to the Jackson County Correction Facility to await first appearance.


  With abuse of prescription medication becoming more prevalent in our communities, Chief Baggett urges the citizens of Marianna to report suspicious behavior and activities to the Marianna Police Department at 850-526-3125.
