On November 30, 2016 Dale County Deputies were dispatched to the Canterbury Farms Subdivision in the Grimes Community in reference to a subject who was seen trespassing on the victim’s property and looking into the windows of her home. The suspect fled prior to deputies arrival.
Over the next several days the sheriff’s office received additional calls of the suspect looking into the windows of the victim’s home. During the investigation a camera was installed on the outside of the victim’s residence which captured the suspect peering into the victim’s window as he fondled himself. With assistance from the community deputies were able to identify the suspect as Jeremy McClain of Grimes.
McClain was arrested on December 14, 2016 and charged with criminal surveillance, criminal trespass 3rd and indecent exposure. McClain is being held in the Dale County Jail pending his 1stappearance hearing.
