UPDATED @ 10:32 PM. 8:05 PM. Overturned Vehicle John D. Odom and Napier Field Road - Power Outage

DOTHAN:   8:05 PM.  Dothan 911 dispatched a motor vehicle accident on Napier Field Road and John D. Odom Road. A vehicle was overturned and live power lines down. Reports of grass on fire and persons disorderly.

Dothan Engine 6 ( Napier Field Road ) was first on the scene. Dothan Fire Truck Company from Weathate Fire responded because of overturned vehicle. There were live power lines down. 

Dothan Fire and Pilcher transported one patient non emergency to the hospital.

Dothan Utilities was dispatched to the scene but the power belongs to Alabama Power.

Dothan Police are conducting a thorough investigation into this accident.

UPDATED @ 10:32 PM

The driver of the vehicle that overturned was intoxicated. Reports are one business had already run subject off and offered to call a taxi.

The subject was in an apparent "road rage" after driving without lights on, blowing his horn, scraping one car and trying to get around another when he ran off the road and flipped.

Dothan Police are investigating. Criminal charges expected.

At 10:32 PM Dothan Police are still on the scene as Alabama Power repairs the power lines.
