DOTHAN: 5:01 PM Dothan 911 has dispatched multiple fire engines to Granda Drive in Dothan where two people have fell into an empty swimming pool and can not get out. The people are older and possibly have head injuries.
Reports to the 911 Center are the pool sides are to slick in order for them to exit.
Two Dothan Fire Engines have been dispatched and two Pilcher Ambulances have been dispatched. One of the two fire engines responding has specialized rescue equipment on board and that is the reason for the second engine.
Also on the scene is Dothan Fire Batallion Chief Pete Webb.

Dothan Fire Batallion Chief Pete Webb has reported the pool is very slick. Dothan Fire is using ladders and rope to safely remove the two persons from the pool and protect from additional injuries.

Dothan Fire Batallion Chief Pete Webb has reported the first patient has been extricated from the swimming pool.

One ambulance has left the scene with one patient en route to Flowers Hospital,non emergency.

The second patient has been loaded onto the stretcher and transporting to hospital.
