UPDATED @ 8:01 PM. 7:27 PM... Structure Fire at 503 North Appletree

DOTHAN:  Multiple Dothan Fire units responded to a report of a structure fire at 503 North Appletree. The first unit on scene advised smoke visible. Battalion 1 has command. Engine 1 is advising flames visible from the back apartment.


At 7:31 PM... Firefighters have quickly knocked the fire down the fire. Firefighter are checking to make sure the fire hasn't spread to other apartments.


Dothan Police responded along with an ambulance. The road the fire is located on is closed due to emergency equipment and supply line blocking the road.

The apartment is a loss. The resident was transported to SAMC non emergency with burns on the face. Dothan Utilities was called to the scene to cut power. A Dothan Fire Marshall was called to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
